The Coal Mines Technical Services (CMTS) Division of Mines Rescue Pty Ltd has recently acquired the raw diesel exhaust, mobile testing facility from BHP Steel. The service commenced on July 1st 2002 and is available for both mining and industrial markets. CMTS has gained NATA accreditation for this work and can provide raw diesel exhaust testing on site throughout NSW.

In addition to the purchase of the capital equipment and mobile laboratory, CMTS has also secured the services of the NATA signatories who previously carried out this work for the BHP, and some western district collieries. With a combined experience in raw diesel exhaust analysis of over 30 years, their expertise in this field is second to none.

CMTS aims to provide a rapid cost effective service and is happy to discuss your requirements in this specialised area of testing. All work for coal mining will be carried out in accordance with the Department of Mineral Resources NSW, "Guidelines for Diesel and Operator Environment Testing in Underground Coal Mines - MDG No: 29".
