Coal Mines Technical Services (CMTS) can provide auditing of gas detection systems that are currently in operation, or technical advice on which type of system best suits a particular application.

Recommendations can be made in relation to the development of appropriate calibration and maintenance strategies to suit the relevant application and also to ensure statutory requirements are met.

Where additional expertise is required, CMTS has access to external consultancy resources, in areas such as risk management, underground mine ventilation and ventilation modeling, etc
